About Us

We (Aaron and Justin) made a lasting connection while collaborating on the design and delivery of an AFL altitude training camp in Boulder, Colorado. We succeeded in preparing a small group of corporate executives to join in a challenging high performance camp with elite athletes and it was apparent that some of the most incredible adventure trips in the world are accessible to people who may have never even thought them possible.

We are both passionate about travel and fitness and have combined to design unique and challenging adventure trips in the most spectacular locations around the world. Our standard is to provide experiences that compel you to tell your friends about them. Our style of adventure travel is low-impact and have curated trips that offer rare local experiences while respecting and supporting local communities.

Aaron Davis

Aaron has 25 years experience in the travel industry designing and leading adventure travel in Australia, Japan, UK and the US.  Aaron values genuine connections and sustainable travel and has built strong relationships with locals around the world.

Justin Crow

Justin is an Elite Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCA), Accredited Physiotherapist (APA), Accredited High Performance Manager (ESSA), and has extensive experience preparing elite athletes to succeed across a wide variety of sports. Justin’s experience includes 12 years at the highest level of Australian football and he is currently employed as Senior Manager, High Performance at Paralympics Australia where he continues his passion of supporting people to do extraordinary things.

At Training for Trips, we share the core values of authentic connection and personalised service. We plan to start small, offer a differentiated and high quality service, and to grow our business naturally without compromising our values. We want to work with and connect small groups of like-minded people, and create an inclusive and safe environment on our trips.

Training for Trips mission is to lead the world at pre-trip engagement and support. We utilise cutting edge technology, benchmarking and exercise prescription normally only available to professional athletes and pride ourselves on working with you to make sure your individual training plan works well with your current life and goals. We have detailed insight into the physical demands of each trip and use that information to provide you with an individualised and targeted program that will ensure you will arrive at your trip physically fit and with the confidence to enjoy your adventure.
